The painting depicts the hot Chihuahuan Desert, the Texas desert. The sun is shining so brightly here that the earth is heated to the limit, having acquired a bright orange color. The hot air envelops and creates illusions in the head. A fast herd of horses emerges from the bright blue shadows. Free and beautiful, they rush towards life itself. Guided by the spirit of the prairies, they know no fear and obstacles.
This painting of incredible freedom and strength of spirit was inspired by westerns and the beautiful nature of America.
The painting is made in the author’s style, the foreground is depicted with three-dimensional “impasto” strokes, which adds colorfulness and perspective to the painting.
